Father of Bernard J. Donovan and his wife Elaine of Newton, Theresa (Donovan) Urekew of Louisville, KY. and Maureen Donovan of San Francisco, CA. Grandfather of William B. Donovan of Newton, David Urekew and his wife Shari of TN, Daniel, Jeremy and Samuel Urekew of KY, Jessica Urekew (USAF) and Sarah Urekew and her husband Joseph Young of IN. Great grandfather of 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Frederick Donovan and his late wife Kathleen, Phyllis McCarthy and her husband Paul of Brighton and the late Mary Morra and her late husband Joseph and the late Rita Mullen and her late husband Joseph. Bernard was a graduate of Boston College and taught for many years in the Waltham School System. He was also a hockey coach in Waltham.
