Al Garnache

Al Garnache was an Art teacher in the WPS for 31 years. He never stopped seeking new ways to help students succeed. His interests were many: art, technology, military history, the New England Patriots, kayaking, traveling, writing, and his dog. Al was funny, kind, a lifelong learner, and a good friend.

I also taught with Al Garnache at Northeast. He was talented, kind, quiet and generous. He inspired timid artists to try art projects that they were reluctant to do. My second graders always looked forward to their art lessons with Mr. Garnache.
