Marie McKenzie

Marie McKenzie retired as Director of Reading K-12/Language Arts K-5 in 2009. Prior to that, Marie was a classroom teacher in Grades 2 and 4 and a reading specialist working with students in Grades 1-9. And, in a true Waltham Public Schools coincidence, Marie’s first classroom (Grade 4 at Newhall School, now the Winchester Crane Apartments,) was her mother’s (Alice White McKenzie) first classroom when she started her career in Waltham as a Grade 5 teacher!
