Josie was born October 22, 1924 in Waltham to the late Maria & Antonio Russo. She is predeceased by her sisters Carmella and Rose Russo, and is survived by her sister Mary Russo and Grace DelGizzi of Hudson, MA one brother Tony Russo and many nieces and nephews. Jo as she was known to others, served during World War II as a Wave in the United States Navy. After which attended Boston College and was a teacher at Plympton School in Waltham, Massachusetts until her retirement She loved reading books of all kinds. Due to Covid 19 and out of concern for those Josephine loved and cared for the Russo Family will gather to celebrate Josephine's life and remember the Love she shared in the Mary Catherine Chapel of the Brasco & Sons Memorial. 773 Moody Street, Waltham in a private a Funeral Service Friday morning, August 14th.

Josephine Russo

Josephine Russo, 96 of Waltham, MA passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 after a period of declining health.
